The interactive AGPN Forums Website provides Network members and their partners with access to expert advice and creates an opportunity to raise generic transition issues and questions for timely response and to discuss transition issues with colleagues.
Current forums include:
- Generic suite of legal and governance Q&A developed by DLA Phillips Fox [under Legal Q&A]
- Generic advice on tax concessions from DLA Phillips Fox [under Legal Q&A]
- Generic advice about resolutions and declarations of solvency with particular regard to going concern assumptions from Williams Love & Nicol [under Legal Q&A]
- Generic advice that describes the implications for employment conditions depending on the transition pathway that is chosen by Network members from Williams Love & Nicol. This includes transfer of employment to Medicare Locals and redundancy implications under the Fair Work Act [under Human Resources Q&A]
- Guidance for Network members approaching accreditation during the transition period [under General Q&A]
- Q&A about the Medicare Local Invitation to Apply (ITA) released by the Australian Government on 22 February 2011 [under ITA Q&A].
Other forums will be established based on the identified needs of members and/or in response to questions/issues raised during the Medicare Local transition period.
