A unique and exciting career opportunity for an executive position has become available with the Australian General Practice Network (AGPN) – a national Canberra based organisation established in 1998 to support 111 general practice networks and eight state based organisations throughout Australia.
This position would be especially suited to someone looking for opportunities to work in a small, very busy team operating at the national level at an exceptionally exciting time in Australia’s history of health reform.
The COO manages the largest component of AGPN’s business functions, that of the operational environment related to the delivery of national support to the network through key program areas.

Web Administration Officer
A great career opportunity for a Web Administration Officer (WAO) has become available with the Australian General Practice Network (AGPN) – the national Canberra based organisation which supports the 111 general practice networks and eight state based organisations which cover Australia.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in content management systems and their application, and who is interested in taking charge of the administration of the AGPN website. The WAO will work with staff from throughout AGPN to ensure the good administration and maintenance of the website and to implement a systematic approach to ensure staff maintain the currency of website content
The WAO also will be responsible for the support and training of staff to enable them to contribute to content updates (subject to authorisation rules) and for maximising functional capacity of the website.

Network Support Officer
A unique and exciting career opportunity for a Network Support Officer (NSO) has become available with the Australian General Practice Network (AGPN) – a national Canberra based organisation established in 1998 to support 111 general practice networks and eight state based organisations throughout Australia.
Network Support Officers provide a vital supporting role to the programs that AGPN delivers across Australia.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with sound administrative and coordination skills who is interested in developing their experience in project support. The NSO roles combines administration, report management and program support activities. Candidates will need to demonstrate effective organisational skills and intermediate to advanced ability in Microsoft applications.
The NSO position may work across a number of program areas, and candidates will need to be able to effectively communicate, prioritise and manage their time.
